The practice will include gentle and dynamic movements to warm up and lengthen the body steadily. Breathing and mindfulness techniques will also be incorporated to encourage the body and mind to relax and restore.

Benefits of Yoga

Yoga is a philosophy made up of methods to inspire inner peace. Hatha Yoga is a physical practice to help nourish and heal the body and mind, by encouraging the functionality of body systems, such as the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems. It can also enhance the body’s digestive and elimination processes. The yogic philosophy is as much a physical practice as a mindful one, as the ultimate intention of the physical practice is to reduce tension in the body, for the more subtle techniques of mindfulness and contemplation to take place.
